This questionnaire shows that i have conducted my own research about our promotional video that I have produced with a classmate, the research includes primary research as this is a questionnaire about a college made video meaning that we would gather information from the questionnaire. This is a type of interview as the questionnaire is asking the person questions about the video and they are giving their opinions on it.

Primary research shown publicly would be James O'Brien in 2018 talking about Brexit using both primary and secondary types of information within an interview format (O'Brien, 2018)




Secondary Research




This PowerPoint presentation is a secondary research example as I had used previously gathered information to gather all I need to understand the Lynx company and how they decide to market their products and how what products they make, I have also researched what age range their customers are meaning that all the information gathered in the PowerPoint are all secondary research as I have used other sources to conclude.

Secondary research conducted and shown publicly would be Boris Johnson talking about the whole coronavirus situation live on tv to all of the UK showing that he has used secondary research to make this speech as he uses scientific research to justify the data collected. (Johnson, 2020)




Quantitative Research


This is a form of quantitative research as these show the amount of people who have taken the questionnaire to gather primary research, this questionnaire gives us the precise amount of people who have taken the questionnaire and have watched our promotional video to conclude the amount of people we have gathered to complete the survey.

Quantitative data shown publicly can be when Boris Johnson spoke about data collected by scientists about coronavirus in the form of graphs showing the countries coronavirus counts and the amount of people likely to survive if they ever get the virus. (Johnson, 2020)




Qualitative Research


This is a form of qualitative research as these show the audiences opinion on the corporate video as some of the questions require different answers which a qualitative answer is needed to be given, the questionnaire answer asks if the corporate video is useful to students looking for a college to go to or former students.

Qualitative data was shown within the coronavirus conference speech given by Boris Johnson as the information was given within verbal feedback about the virus and about the ways that all the UK citizens can stay safe. (Johnson, 2020)




Market & Audience Research



Marketing & Audience research has been conducted in this case as this shows that i have researched about the target audience of Lynx and I have altered the advertising audience to suit a different age group such as elderly.

Marketing and Audience research conducted on a public level would be Elon Musk's interview about him and his companies. (Musk, 2017)




Production Research


This is a form of production research that i have conducted myself as I had to research about LYNX in order to rebrand the companies products to best fit a better target audience meaning that I have had to find and use LYNX's audience in order to change its target audience.

An example of Production research could be Customer reviews on products or company review such as Tesco's who had a customer review about their "Wine Scam" experience.
This shows Tesco's that some of their employees made this mistake and they can work on reducing these mistakes. (Customer, 2021)

The purpose of advertising is to get media products out to people everywhere such as an advert for shampoo could be advertised on buses or posters scattered around places where people are frequently passing allowing for more people to see their advert about their product.
